I added a good bit of my personal creativity and a lot of the style of Hansruedi Giger (also known as Hans Rudolph Giger or H.R. Giger). I put in much more spikes, biomechanical parts, and a second tail for the fears of scorpions, spiders, insects, centipedes and everything alien. I highly advise you to check out Giger's work. The spikes, mentality, attack tactics and general body plan are from its host, the predator hellhound:
